Sorry for the quick follow-up here, but I thought worth noting the following.
Last year, I was tested two weeks apart
11/15/22 HSV 2 IGG: 1.12 Positive – Quest
11/29/22 HSV 2 IGG: .98 Equivocal – Quest
As an update, I went to get a Labcorp Test yesterday to see if anything has changed and for peace of mind in case these were off base, and I received the following:
10/17/23 HSV IGG: .97 Equivocal – Labcorp
The test I received didn’t revert to a supplemental, I am thinking of going again and seeing if I can get a test that has a supplemental ASAP.
But given that these tests are almost a year apart and I’ve had only one other sexual partner who was also negative, does it make sense that this is probably a false positive?
