The mail companies do have some false positives and false negatives, yes. A positive swab test combined with a positive IgG result should be definitive. I know this is hard to accept but I think you need to. What heals in two days may not truly be a herpes lesion as the other one was that lasted 8 days.
They are working on a vaccine and other treatments actively now. There is hope.
