I can’t say for certain that you are not infected with HSV 2. But with these low positives, there is an 85% chance that you are not. I’m surprised that you’ve done all these IgG tests but never a western blot?
You likely have a protein in your blood that is there due to something entirely different than herpes, that is tripping this test artificially. We see it all the time. That’s why we now recommend that this testing NOT be done in people without classic HSV symptoms.
