I think the positive HSV 1 is very likely that you have HSV 1. Without any history of cold sores, we cannot know if your infection is oral or genital unless you have a lesion in either location. And absolutely do NOT do the PCR test if it is from blood. Herpes isn’t normally in your blood do the test is worthless. PCR should be done only from swabs, not blood.
