After having a fit, my ex asked the other girl to get tested. She did, however they did not test her for hsv and said they don’t do that testing at all (it was a free clinic) She will not get testing she has to pay for because she doesn’t have health insurance. So here we are now three weeks later. My ex felt very run down 8 days after sleeping with her but never had any other symptoms. I was diagnosed with vulvodynia in 2021. When I am stressed my symptoms are worse and I have definitely been stressed after this event. I have had my typical symptoms of the vulvodynia along with some soreness in my groining area where my lymph nodes are, however no swelling of lymph nodes. Neither of us had any sores or blisters. I know you can’t tell me anything for certain as far as whether I contracted anything but given this experience would you recommend I get tested in 9 weeks. I have been tested so many times in the last couple of years because of my anxieties. Why will some clinics not test for hsv when it is so important that people know whether they have it or not?
