Yes, I have performed oral sex and received oral sex after being diagnosed with HSV1. I never performed oral when a cold sore outbreak occurred.
In November of 2021, I was tested for HSV1(56) & HSV2(.91). In January of 2022, I developed a sore on my vagina & the Dr swab it and it came back positive for HSV2. Then 1 week later, I tested again with the IGG test and the HSV 2 was .91 again. Which test is accurate? Should I still do the Western Blot test to determine my results? Did I get it from my partner?
Last thing, I have developed hair bumps on top of my vagina in the past and had them swab and my HSV2 was negative. I’m also wondering if there’s a possibly I could HSV1 in my vagina but the test is not decting it in that area.
My partner also told me that he had a cold sore in the past. I’m wondering why his HSV1 (.90) is super low since he’s had a cold sore in the past. This is why I think he’s asymptomatic and his numbers may fluctuate or he may be taking supplements without me knowing about it.
My sex partner also told me that he was sexually active 2 months prior to us having sex. He told me that he got tested for everything after having sex with that person but I don’t think he was tested for herpes. Whenever we had sex I always developed BV and yeast infections. I never had that problem with past sexual partners.
