Thanks Terri. One more question to help me put this to rest – given my provider thought the lesion was too small to swab, it was not tender, it did not burn or itch, this does not sound like a herpes lesion to you? I know I tested negative via WB but my anxiety is incessant.
Last question to add, should I be disclosing this previous lesion since it was not swabbed? Or is it ok to move forward with the negative blot?

I just purchased additional questions, just in case.
One more anxiety driven question, is the reason the WB is not affected because it does not use the biotin-streptavidin system? Whereas other tests do?
