Thanks, Terri. If someone does contract OHSV2 in a scenario like this, what is your take on the likelihood of contacting GHSV2 from the same partner down the road? I’ve seen some opinions that indicate OHSV2 will prevent (a strong word, I know) GHSV2 from happening. If that is the case, and I’m not promoting this idea, then what would keep people from strategically going the oral route in order to mitigate the genital contraction?

Further, is it true that OHSV2 is not as likely to spread as OHSV1?
