Did the 3 equivocals that came back positive WB have – or + supplemental test or no supplemental was done because they weren’t a low positive?

Are the lab corps supplemental test ,that I have negative results with, the bio kit test the CDC recommends along with the WB for confirmation tests?

Have you had any low igg with negative supplemental come back positive WB since you started keeping track last November?

Successful in getting my WB kit and going soon to have blood drawn. Just scared to death to have to wait again for another test result after this nightmare I’ve been through. But very thankful I found you and can hopefully get past all this self inflicted pain I’ve done to myself and get on with my life.

    Thanks you for your time!!!!!!

Thanks for your help! Will keep checking the ups store daily.
As for the tingling in my left testicle with the varicocele. It’s been persistent during the day while standing and a little while sitting for weeks with a day or 2 it might stop then starts up again. Never at night when I’m bed. Does this sound like a symptom of hsv2?
    Or me being ultra sensitive?
    Thanks!!!

    Hi Terri
After our E visit on 3/10 3:40 MST first name initial E. You said my chances of being negative for hsv2 were “90% or more” and since then my stress and anxiety levels have dropped and the feelings I thought might be symptoms I described to you in an email have stopped for the exception of a sporadic tingle in my left testicle that has a varicocele. The pins and needles on my skin and irritated/hot skin in the genital area have been a none issue. Mental issues I guess.
My problem now is getting my WB test. I arranged with a ups store to have it shipped there because having it sent to my home isn’t an option. The people at UW addressed the kit accordingly to the ups store in my name but that was almost 4 weeks ago. I ordered a second test 10 days ago and don’t have that one yet either. Verified with UW that they were sent but no luck. I’ll keep trying to get this going but not working out so far.
In your last response in this thread you referred to only 25 people that have negative supplemental tests and negative WB with none that you know of coming back positive WB. I do fully understand. Has there only been 25 people with negative supplemental test that have done the WB?I’ve read in your other posts that in your career you’ve had 3 equivocals come back positive WB and up until a few months ago it was only one. Did those have a positive supplemental test?
Can you explain this a little more for my small brain?
    Thank you!!!!!

I’ve read other patient questions and answers of yours referring to Igg scores ,higher than mine, and negative supplemental test. Saying that the blot is in agreement with the supplemental and to only take the blot for peace of mind. Is there something different in my situation that makes it more necessary to take the blot?
    Thank you!!!!

Thank you Terri!! Can’t even begin to be able to express how very grateful I am for your help!!!
But from what I’ve been through I’m very nervous about taking more tests!!
Aside from the lab work from what I described does an hsv2 infection seem likely?
I believe I read in some of your replies that Any Labs is where to go to have your blood drawn?
If so I have one in my area and will have to work through you on this. I can’t go through my provider. I need to get funds together for this. Wish I could get my money back from stdcheck!
Hope I haven’t gone over my allotted questions. If so let me know and I’ll pay the fee.
