Is there anything you recommend i do to prevent transmission?
Am i more likely to transmit hsv1 to someone through getting oral sex than through regular sex?
Yes, i have always gotten canker sores.
And no, there was no swab of my throat.
I was thinking maybe whatever sickness i had at the time triggered the outbreak and perhaps that was the reason for my throat sores, but i have no idea how i would know now for sure. I am thinking since i havent had sores around my mouth, it would be a good sign that i dont have oral herpes…
As i said before, i just want to make sure i do my very best to have my facts straight when disclosing in a future relationship.
From what i understand, weakened immune systems can cause outbreaks more frequently. Would it be valuable to take lysine to prevent future outbreaks of ghsv1, or is that more for oral hsv1?
If you were me, What would you do to be safe as possible but still be able to have fun? Should i abstain from receiving oral? Get an rx?
If i dont actually have oral hsv1, am i still suseptable to get it from someone that does?
Since gsv1 sheds less, what is the likelihood i can pass it to someone else? And would it be more likely that it would pass to someone as oral hsv1 as opposed to ghsv1?
If i am not having reoccurring outbreaks, does that mean i am less likely to pass it to someone else?
Does the virus shed less as time goes on?
Am i thinking about this too hard? HA!
