Sorry that was a typo
I meant we have sex very rarely. More because of having a small child. I haven’t had an outbreak in a few years and although my outbreaks were very minimal , I definitely knew when I was having one. Yes I tested positive via swab test about 9 years ago. Don’t know what type.
I guess what I was asking is , is the scrotum a likely place to have an initial outbreak. Especially underneath the scrotum which would be extremely difficult to come into contact with during sex. And would an initial outbreak clear up within only 4 days with no medication?
Everything I have read states how rare outbreaks are on that area, especially a primary outbreak. How many cases would you have seen where a primary and reoccurring outbreaks have occurred only on the scrotum?
And for someone who has never experienced pimples on his scrotum before. What else could they be? Especially when they have recurred in a couple months but have also cleared in a few days.
Again they look like pimples and not anything like the ulcer/blister I have experienced.
Like I said we did have a brief sexual encounter 5 days before the first one appeared, it was unprotected, maybe for 5 minutes but was definitely not exposed to that area. I did do oral sex after the 5 minutes but my outbreaks have definitely only ever been in my genitals
I have never had a cold sore on my mouth or nose and neither has he and he has always tested negative via blood tests for both typesSwiftmixer2020Participant
Also he has noticeable jock itch on both sides of crotch
The “pimples” were initially on the underneath of his scrotum and this latest one is more on the side but none would be in the part that could be contacted during sex.
