Also I have seen online that itchy genitals are a symptom but you say they arent unless there are lesions?
Thanks Terri. I just find it weird it feels like I have had 3 outbreaks in a row. I get itchy armpits and ear ringing. And also itchy around genitals at night.
Weird that these synptoms come together.
Thanks Terri. So in all your experience of dealing with GH people dont really complain of itchy armpits or itchy scrotum during out break
Ok thanks. I think they are herpes. Which will mean i got it from the handjob I have discussed previously
Hi Terri unfortunately today in breaking out with multiple bumps on my pubic region again Im absolutely distraught right now. Whats the best thing to do?
Is it possible for me to do a western blot in the uk?
Or is a swab test also accurate?
Thanks Terri so the igg are the most accurate thing i can get in the uk then i guess
Sorry if i have mis understood something here. At 6 months since potential exposure are you saying the igg test would only pick up 20% of hsv2 infevtions?
Why is that? I thought after infection antibodies stay in the system for life?
Ok thanks. I may still take a test to be sure as I dont want to infect anyonr if i do have it. The bumps were quite big. Do herpes bumps tend to be big? Also would they cover a large area of the pubic region? If they were to recur is it possible to get the odd lesion on your anus and one on the pubic region and some on thighs or would is usually concentrate in one place?
Am i allowed to email a photo?
Is it possible the bumps were warts? I have a photo is it possible i can send it to you to see if it is a typical herpes presentation?
What else could the spots have been? I am worried that was the first outbreak and now this is a second. For the last few months i have had an itchy anus. What is the basis that handjob wouldn’t cause HSV given i had never had these symptoms before this. Is an itchy anus a symptom? I have had this for a few months now. I also noticed my wee is sometimes a light greenish colour. Is thisna synptom?
