Thank you Terri. I was reading your forum and found that HSV 2 blisters / sores could be like paper cut as well.
Thinking back, during 6th week, I had a paper cut sore which was between scrotum and anus area. It was painful only when I was showering. I applied anti bacterial ointment and it healed in 2 days. Overall I had it for 5 days. It was accompanied with shooting leg pain during which I had to take pain killing tablet. Connecting the dots, I am concerned HSV 2.
Picture is blurry, but your insight be helpful. Thanks
Your reply helped me to reduce anxiety level.
(i) Regarding the cyst, does it resolve on its own or requires some removal procedure?
(ii) If HSV 2 shows up any symptoms, when does it happen after initial contact?
(iii) I am located in one of the south asian countries for work, where they offer HSV igG antibody by one of the following methods: CSF or EIA or CLIA. I have no clue what does it mean or which one is the most reliable? Would you recommend which one should I opt if I choose to test for HSV-2 to keep my devil mind away? I will not be returning back to the US for the next several months. I might combine HSV igG test with 13th wk HIV DUO test while I am still here. Thanks
